Glendale currently has two great skate parks open - one at Foothills Park at 59th Avenue and Union Hills and the other at 83rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road. See details on both facilities below.
Foothills Sk8 Court Plaza

Features of the Foothills Sk8 Court include:
- 5-foot bowl with center spine
- 9-foot, 2-level bowl
- 5-foot bowl grinding and obstacle features
- Double bumps
- Steel rainbow
- Street scape
- Bleachers, ramadas, water fountain
- Adjacent to the Foothills Aquatic Center
Glendale's X-Court
Glendale's first skateboarding and BMX facility opened October 6, 2007. The location is on 83rd Avenue just north of Bethany Home Road at the Western Area Regional Park. It consists of 26,000 square feet of concrete designed for bikes, boards and blades. Features include:
- Bowls, including a 9 foot bowl
- Transitions
- Street elements
- 1400 square foot proshop and concession building
- NO fees!
