Arizona Cardinals
After 28 years in St. Louis, the Cardinals relocated to Arizona in the spring of 1988 and made Sun Devil Stadium on the campus of Arizona State University their new home, playing under the name Phoenix Cardinals. In 1994 the team's name was changed to the Arizona Cardinals and on August 12, 2006 they played their inaugural game at the new stadium in Glendale. January 18, 2009 the Cardinals won their first NFC Championship and will play in (their first) Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa on February 1, 2009.
