Downtown Glendale is home to the Cerreta Candy Factory, open both for self-guided tours as well as shopping (and tasting) in their retail store. The family owned business was founded almost 30 years ago by Jim Cerreta, Sr. who learned candy making in his father-in-law’s factory in Ohio. Jim passed the trade to his entire family. Cerreta's is always a big part of the annual Glendale Chocolate Affaire, held in Murphy Park around Valentine's Day.
