Glendale is located in the west and northwest part of the Valley of the Sun and is approximately 9 miles from Phoenix.

The general boundaries of the city of Glendale are Pinnacle Peak Road to the north, Camelback Road on the south, 43rd or 51st Avenues on the east, and Luke Air Force Base and Reems Road on the west. Glendale can be accessed from Interstate 17, Interstate 10 and Loops 101 and 303, as shown on the map below.
